Dimm Privacy Policy

Last updated October 13, 2026

The short version: Dimm has no accounts, analytics or ads. Everything you create in Dimm stays on your device. The only data that leaves it is your App Store purchase record, which RevenueCat uses to unlock Dimm Pro and to back any refund you ask Apple for.

Who we are

Dimm is an iOS app made by Snowy Ghost LLC ("we," "our," or "us"). This policy describes how Dimm handles information.

Data we collect

Nothing you create in Dimm, and no information about how you use it, is sent to us or to anyone else. The one exception is purchases, described below. Dimm has no sign-up and no analytics or advertising SDKs.

Purchases

If you buy Dimm Pro or redeem a code for it, Apple handles the purchase. Dimm uses RevenueCat, a payment-infrastructure service, to validate the App Store receipt and restore your purchase on a new device. RevenueCat receives the receipt and an anonymous, random identifier. It never receives your name, email or anything you put in Dimm. If you ask Apple for a refund, RevenueCat tells Apple on our behalf that we'd like it granted. It also confirms the purchase details Apple requires, such as whether Pro was delivered. Buying Pro means you agree to this.

Emailing us

If you email dimm-pro@snowyghost.com for a free code, an AI model (Anthropic's Claude, run on Amazon Bedrock) reads your message, decides whether to send a code and writes the reply. If we send one, we keep your email address, the code and a one-line note on why, so no one gets two codes, and use them for nothing else. To have them deleted, or to reach a person instead, write to team@snowyghost.com.

Data stored on your device

Everything Dimm needs (your app list, layouts, schedules and preferences) is stored on your device, in storage shared only between Dimm and its widgets. Deleting the app deletes this data. We never see it.

Photos access

If you use "Set as Phone Wallpaper," Dimm asks for add-only Photos access to save a single image you created. Dimm cannot view your existing photos, and never asks for broader access.

Siri, Focus and widgets

Shortcuts, Focus filters and widget interactions are processed on your device by iOS. Dimm receives only the action you chose (like "next layout") and nothing else.

Children

Dimm collects no personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here and ship with the app, with the date above revised.
